wow wow wow, I lost 10.5 lbs this week. So can't believe it and am really thrilled!

Oh how crap was I? I only lost 2lb this week, and really for someone with a lot to loose i should have lost more, but again I fell off the wagon at the weekend and had takeaway. But 10lbs in 2 weeks, isn't so bad. Am hoping for 4lb this week to get me my next class award.
Our first dress fitting is just over a month away and am dreading it, would love to have at least another stone off but Novemeber is a good bit away and I can hopefully have 4 stone off by then.

OMG

I completely forgot about this blog and it is now 2011, 2 years later.
Chelsea is 10 and Jack is just about to celebrate his 7th birthday Monday. I can't believe that I have no babies anymore and there will never be any. Life has changed in so many ways since my last post. I started work again, lost friends and made new ones, but everything is so much better. My sister had a lovely baby girl and made me an aunt which I never thought would happen and we love Charlotte to bits. She's just over a year now and so much fun! Gemma is getting married in 10 months and I am bridesmaid.
So I have started trying to slim down ( never easy). I normally follow weightwatchers but this time have decided to try slimming world and joined in November.I lost 1st until christmas then gained most of it back and didn't go back to class until 2 weeks ago. Hubby ( Mick) joined with me because he wants to loose 2st and its been good so far. I lost 8lbs last week and we have a mini comp on between us about who can get slimmer of the week first lol. In total I have lost 30lbs but really need to loose more asap.

Grainne's wedding

We've just come back from a week-end in Donegal and all I can say is' Never again'. The wedding was fantastic and the bride was gorgeous and i even had a wee cry at the speeches, but I hated Donegal. We left home at 11.30 am and wasn't arriving into the cottage untill 4.30pm. It was in the middle of no-where and they don't know how to sign post their roads and the sat nav wasn't the greatest help either.
Chelsea was a gorgeous bridesmaid and my mum mentioned that in a other 10 or 15 years she could be a bride..that is very scary. Both the kids have a great time and loved dancing with nanny and granda and all the attention they got especially Jack with his Irish Dancing...Billy Eillot , better watch out..lol.
So the next thing he wants to do is go to Irish Dancing lessons, i am going to start looking for somewhere close by for him and hopefully he'll stick to it!

The first post of the day

I got this idea from a post on MSE and thought it was a great idea and wish i had have done it sooner, but today is at least a start. Chelsea is now 8 and Jack is 5, it seems like only yesterday that they were tiny babies.
I've also started weightwatchers again, my weight has soared within the last few years and enough is enough and its time to tackle it. It's not gonna be easy but has to be done.
I am also aiming to be more old style, cook more meals from scratch and try and save a few pennies.
